What are we looking for?
- Linux admin with 10+ years of experience in Enterprise & Open-Source Virtualization solutions.
- Must have experience in implementing & maintaining solutions using VMware/ KVM/ Proxmox/ Zen/ HyperV.
- In-depth hands-on skills, as well as solution-designing experience in VMware/ Hyper-V and KVM, are required.
- Intensive operations and problem-management experience in large-scale enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure like AWS/ Azure/ Open Stack preferred.
- Additional experience in working in start-up companies is added plus.
What will you be doing?
- Respond to L2/ L3 tickets to troubleshoot, resolve issues, and fulfil requests as a systems admin.
- Support other systems admin in clarifying VMware or any other virtualization issues.
- Work with the platform operations team to evaluate, design, and test Open-Source virtualization solutions like KVM etc.
- Work on projects like creating a migration plan from VMware to Open Source virtualization solutions.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement IaaC (Infrastructure as a Code) initiatives, especially pertaining to virtualization & systems admin.
- Be a core part of a project team to build a scalable platform in addition to ongoing support tasks.
